Letter from the Administrator

Dear Residents, Family Members and Friends of Santa Fe Care Center,

This month is National Social Work Month, and I would like to say “Thank You” to Petra and John for doing such a great job for us!

Also, there are a couple of events this month that you should know about. First, we will celebrate Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) on Tuesday, March 5, with a parade and music by Partisani Band. This is a great time to just let go and have some fun. As they say in New Orleans, “Let the good times roll!” We will also celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this month on March 17. Please join us and participate in all of the activities that you enjoy!

Spring will arrive this month, and this is a great time to remind you about “spring cleaning!” Clean out those closets that have become cluttered over the winter, and make room for the warmer weather clothing.

Also, just a reminder that our clocks will “spring” forward on Sunday, March 10, and on Monday, March 11, we will be a non-smoking community. Those who smoked before March 11 will continue smoking with supervision, but we will no longer admit smokers to the building.

Thank you for allowing us to provide care for you or your loved one. It is our privilege and pleasure. We are striving to be a 5-star facility, and with your help we will get there!
